Microsoft announce the General Availability of Microsoft Power Virtual Agents. This offering allows the creation of chatbots using a guided, no-code graphical interface, which can be further enhanced by building custom workflows with Power Automate, or by using the Microsoft Bot Framework for more complex scenarios. We can easily integrate with Power BI, Power Apps, Teams, external websites too.
From a licensing perspective, it’s licensed per tenant at a cost of $1,000 for 2,000 chat bot sessions a month, with an add-on available for a further 1,000 sessions at $450 per month. Find the announcement here

- Once you select Create, the process of creating the first bot within a new environment can take up to 15 minutes.

Topics: Topic is a questioner series where bot gets triggered with the phrases provided by user. Trigger phrases are examples of the type of user questions that help teach the bot when to respond with the dialog. System topics & out of the box topics were available when bot is created.
Entities: Power virtual agent supports the natural language for us. Entities are the data storage containers by extracting from the user inputs. It supports the out of the box entities like Age, Color, Email & more.
Analytics: It renders the utilization report of bot.
Publish: We can publish developed chat bots on different channels like Custom website, Teams, Skype, Facebook, Mobile Apps & more.
Manage: Manage options is to configure channel, authentication & skills.
Channels extend configuration of your bot to meet your customer.
Authentication allows the bot to verify a user’s identity during a conversation. It gives the bot secure access to user data and allows it to take actions on the user’s behalf.
Skills extend your bot’s conversational capabilities by automating a series of actions within a topic.
